MURALS of Belfast
When Tommy Makem was asked to perform at a peace rally for Northern Ireland years ago, he was astonished to realize that he didn't have one song about peace in his repertoire. This the inside of the communities, the film explores how peace was barely part of the vocabulary of Northern Ireland, and violence was such a part of the culture, that it took generations to break through the wall of hatred and sectarian violence.
